My name is Robert Kirk. I'm a high school student in the Los Angeles Area. I've been playing the piano for about 11 1/2 years, classically trained for 11 years under an amazing teacher and mentor, Bruce Siegel.
For the past six months I have been taking guitar lessons under the musician, Perk. They both have acted as vocal coaches for the singing I have done since I started playing piano.
Both instructors have provided instruction in theory. In addition, I took two semesters of music theory at West LA College. The hard work of all this training has paid off. I have been in one church worship band for about four years, and another church worship band for around a year and a half. I have also formed an Alternative Rock band, Vacant, with a couple friends. I have a great passion for music, and have considered studying it in college.
